Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PressKit is provided by LudeHQ, based in Larnaca, Cyprus. LudeHQ is the controller of personal data processed through PressKit. You can contact us at contact@ludehq.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the information needed to provide PressKit:

• Account information, including your name, handle, email address, password hash, niche, bio, and location.
• Media kit content, including profile photos, social statistics, audience demographics, collaborations, services, and rates.
• Deal information, including brand contacts, line items, and totals that you enter.
• Usage information, including media kit view counts, IP addresses, and short lived request and security logs.
• Billing information, including subscription status and payment references from Stripe. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe and are never seen by us.

A published media kit at a public kit address is public by design. You control what appears on it through your settings and the content you choose to publish.

3. Why we use your information

• We process account information, media kit content, deals, and view counts to provide the Service under our contract with you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
• We process subscription and billing records to perform our contract and meet accounting and tax duties. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.
• We process IP addresses and request logs to keep PressKit secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. The legal basis is our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

4. Processors and sharing

Stripe processes payments and subscriptions for us. Card details are entered directly into Stripe and are never seen by us.

All other data, including accounts, profile photos, and media kit content, is stored in our own SQLite database on our own server hosted in the European Union. Profile photos are stored as blobs in that database.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

5. International transfers

Stripe may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep information

We keep your account and content until you delete them or ask us to close your account. We may retain limited information after closure when the law requires it. Billing records are kept for the periods required by accounting and tax law. Request and security logs are kept for a short period, unless they are needed for longer to investigate a security incident or abuse.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, or receive your personal data, and to restrict or object to its processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You can exercise these rights by emailing contact@ludehq.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

8. Cookies and local storage

PressKit uses one essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not use local storage for tracking. Because only an essential cookie is used, no cookie banner is shown.

9. Security

We use HTTPS, password hashing, restricted database access, and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No online service can promise complete security.

10. Children

PressKit is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal data, contact us so we can remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when PressKit or the law changes. We will post the updated policy here and change the date at the top. We will give additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
